Words of Appreciation

This fall we have received a significant number of cards and letters from people to whom we minister and we have been greatly encouraged.

We share excerpts with you so that you can rejoice with us in the fruit of our work.

It's so rewarding to hear back from those we seek to assist in their trials. We are indebted to our many friends and supporters who care for us in various ways to make this ministry possible. Thank you for your valuable part in this work of caring for people in pain.

“Thank you for your love to our family. I have been reading your letter over and over and each time with tears of joy. Indeed my heart and spirit and mind long to be with Christ in heaven and I cannot wait to be there.

Your letter is so encouraging and I have shared it with some of my brothers and sisters in Christ to comfort them too.”
From a young mom who recently went to heaven

“Even though the last study was intense at times I really enjoyed it. I know I have been blessed by your words of advice, encouragement, and at times correction. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
A young mom at Susan's ladies Bible study

“You both have been such a blessing to me, such a source of support during my six years of separated status - never condescending, never preachy, yet maintaining God's Word with integrity, always ready to help.”
A single mom who attends our meetings

“It means so much to me not only to have your friendship but also your mentorship. Someone to look up to and learn from. And lots I have learned! Not only about what it is to have a relationship with God, but what it means to be truly accountable to someone.”
From a young mom Susan mentors

“Just a little note because I love you both and want to let you know how much your ministry means to me. As you know I'm far from my family. Until you started the Single Mom's ministry I felt very much alone in Mississauga. You are both like family to me.

Although I have never called in the middle of the night, the fact that I know I can (because you've said so) is very comforting.”
From another single mom

“It was such a blessing to hear you say that we are never forgotten by you, some times I feel very forgotten. I really appreciate your prayers and all your love. Even though we're miles apart…God has brought us together. I thank the Lord for people like you and Susan.”
